Two pumped storage hydroelectric power projects, with a total investment of P439 billion under Prime Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the Razon Group, were approved under the BOI’s Green Lane initiative. Trade Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual presented the certificates to Prime Infrastructure Chairman Enrique K. Razon Jr. The projects, the Pakil Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Project and the Wawa Pumped Storage 1 Hydroelectric Power Project, are expected to be operational by 2030. Pascual emphasized DTI’s commitment to promoting investments in renewable energy.
