Accountant

Duties and Responsibities

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports for the management
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and account schedules
  • Preparation and compliance in reportorial requirements of the government
  • Work closely with the auditor for the compliance of the Annual Audited Financial Statement
  • Ensure timely BIR remittances and compliance with administrative requirements
  • Provide clearical support to accounting department when necessary
  • Handle registration with BOI and other accreditation/registration requirements
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Can handle multiple task with deadlines

Keys Skills and Competencies

  • Should have a strong understanding of Accounting, taxation adn Treasury
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Requires minimal supervision

Education and Experience

  • Preferably CPA
  • With at least 2 years related work experience
  • Analytical and keen to details
  • Strong computer and verbal communication skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ortigas Pasig: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

Accounting: 2 years (Required)

Requirements and Skills

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources
  • Medium to advanced skill level in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
  • Well-experience of labor laws and other related laws and regulations under Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and in handling administrative cases, documentation and monitoring of all administrative disciplinary cases and employee relations concerns.
  • Knowledgeable on safety rules and regulations i.e. Earthquake, Fire, and other related emergency
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resource metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all level of the company
